PROF. DR. YAO SONG

I am a Professor (Research) in the School of Journalism and Literature at Sichuan University (SCU), China; My research orbits innovation design and digital creativity. The abrupt rise of digital art and design has drastically revamped the humanities landscape and the ways in which people perceive the world. Central to my research agenda is the investigation of the impact of emerging information technologies on re-production, re-interpretation, and re-organization of art and design. Using machine learning, survey, and experiment, my previous and recent studies are committed to exploring the role of digital creativity in the context of innovation design.
